Bond Wolfe was commissioned by the City of Maplewood to design the conversion of the original 1930’s pool house into a new public library. The renovation of this pool house for use as the new public library provides this community with an adaptive reuse of this historic landmark. While working closely with the library board, Bond Wolfe organized community engagement involvement and capital fundraising campaign efforts. Using LIBRIS DESIGN to implement facility planning, the completed library consists of modernized technology, extensive book collections, an adult reading lounge, computer center, an interactive children’s area, and conference rooms.
