LADUE HIGH SCHOOL
LADUE, MISSOURI
With a great drama and theater department flourishing, Ladue Horton Watkins High School needed a facility to help support their studies. Bond Wolfe was commissioned to renovate and expand the Ladue Horton Watkins High School auditorium and lobby, as well as an addition of a Black Box Theater. The exciting new Black Box Theater is now the main feature of the High School. This theater will allow the student actors to engage the audience in a more intimate setting. The Black Box Theater will also be utilized as classroom space for drama classes. The auditorium design focuses on special features such as a new mezzanine, acoustic clouds and an orchestra pit. The open, natural lit lobby is an inviting new space which focuses on the schools’ new performing arts venue.
