LISUANG VILLAGE SCHOOL
CHUNAN PROVINCE, CHINA
Bond Wolfe Architects was commissioned to design a regional boarding school in the Chunan Province of China. The facility was designed to provide children (elementary through middle school) with a modern educational facility. Programmatic elements include a multi-purpose room, kitchen suite, computer lab, classrooms, library, teacher apartments and student living quarters.
The exterior of the facility was designed to capture the charm and character of the historic village. Tightly knit within the existing community, the school has become a community hub for village residents.
