SCHOOL OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-COLUMBIA
COLUMBIA, MISSOURI
The renovation and addition to the School of Veterinary Medicine was designed to compliment the surrounding campus and enhance the learning environment for Vet-Med students. The design calls for a prominent crescent-shaped entrance which physically and aesthetically connects the facility with nearby Clydesdale Hall and establishes a hierarchy among campus facilities. The outdoor courtyard provides students with open-air learning space and access to the new coffee shop located in the central portico. Interior modifications include updated finishes and fixtures throughout the facility and a renovated, state-of-the-art library, expanded classrooms and administrative suite. This project is currently in the fundraising phase.
