The Huston Huffman Center serves as an activities hub for the University of Oklahoma campus community. Designed in phases, construction of Phase I was implemented during the academic year with minimal disruption to ongoing recreational activities. This first phase addressed the student recreation component. Elements include a 5-court multi-sports forum, climbing wall, free/machine weights, cardio studio and circuit training. Phase II includes a natatorium, expanded locker rooms and additional cardio training space. Construction of Phase II will begin in fall 2009.
