Traditional values, modern solutions

Do you have a property to sell or let?

Lisa Worrall, representing the Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust, recently revisited the school to present a donation of £500.00, which will help refresh and expand the school’s library collection.

The library plays a vital role in supporting pupils’ reading and learning, particularly as many children have limited access to books at home. A significant proportion of the current collection has not been replaced for several years, resulting in outdated stock that does not fully reflect pupils’ interests, reading abilities, backgrounds, and experiences.

Speaking during the visit, Lisa Worrall said: “It is always a pleasure to visit St Chad’s Catholic Primary School. The welcome from both the pupils and staff is amazing. We hope our donation will help the school refresh and expand its library collection, providing diverse and inclusive books that reflect the cultures, experiences and identities within the school community. We would also like to thank Asha’s Indian Restaurant for its continued support of the Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust, which enables us to make donations to worthy causes such as this.”

Deputy Head Teacher Miss Ryan expressed her gratitude for the donation, saying: “A big thank you to Mrs Worrall and the Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust for their generous donation of £500 to restock and refurbish our library. The children are delighted. Reading opens up the world and is the key to learning.”

The Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust continues to support local community initiatives, helping organisations and schools make a positive difference to the lives of young people across the region.
