Traditional values, modern solutions

Do you have a property to sell or let?

Bond Wolfe has successfully completed the £2.5 million sale of Kingston House in West Bromwich, a substantial former office building with full planning permission for conversion into 128 co-living studios.

Located at 438-450 High Street, Kingston House has been acquired by TheStudios, the property investment company renowned for delivering a high-quality co-living scheme of nearly 200 apartments in the 12-storey former Carillion headquarters at Birch Street, Wolverhampton.

James Mattin, Managing Director at Bond Wolfe, said:

“We are delighted to have concluded yet another major high street sale in West Bromwich.

Kingston House represents a significant redevelopment opportunity and will be transformed from its former role as a multi-let NHS office building into 128 co-living studios.

TheStudios have a proven track record in delivering vibrant, community-focused residential spaces, and we look forward to seeing Kingston House revitalised in a similar way.

This deal follows our recent sale of 178 Birmingham Road on behalf of Green Square Accord Housing Association, further evidence of positive change across the town’s property landscape.”

A prominent West Bromwich landmark
Kingston House is a six-storey, detached, freehold property extending to 42,714 sq ft and benefiting from 106 onsite parking spaces. Its prominent High Street position places it within easy walking distance of the pedestrianised town centre and just a few hundred yards from the A41 Black Country Expressway.

The property offers excellent connectivity, with Birmingham city centre accessible via the Metro tram, West Bromwich Bus Station close by, and Junction 1 of the M5 less than two miles away.

Nearby amenities include the New Square shopping centre, with its five-screen Odeon Cinema, Tesco Extra superstore, popular retail brands, cafés and restaurants. Dartmouth Park and Sandwell Valley Country Park are also within easy reach.

Legal advisors
CBTC Solicitors in West Bromwich acted for the seller, while HCR Law of Cheltenham represented the buyer.

This sale highlights Bond Wolfe’s continued role in delivering high-profile commercial transactions across the West Midlands, with demand remaining strong for redevelopment opportunities in well-connected locations.
