Bond Wolfe’s Latest Auction Raises Nearly £3 Million for Birmingham City Council
Our latest live-streamed auction on 15 May delivered impressive results for Birmingham City Council, generating £2,860,500 in sales revenue across seven council-owned properties.
The standout performer was the former Trittiford Learning Centre at 109-111 Trittiford Road, Moseley, which smashed expectations by selling for £1,520,000, more than three times its £500,000+ guide price.
Exceptional Results for Birmingham City Council Properties
Other notable successes included the former Four Oaks Boys Club on Wilmcote Drive, Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield, which achieved £393,000, more than five times its £75,000+ guide price.
Two Wolverhampton properties – the former Oxley Health Centre and Probert Court Nursing Home on Probert Road, and the former Probert Road Nursery on Ingestre Road – were sold prior to the auction for a combined total of £1,435,000, against guide prices of £750,000+ and £410,000+.
Strong Bidding and High Demand Across the Board
Bond Wolfe’s latest auction was another resounding success, with 120 lots sold from 138 offered, an 87% success rate, and total sales reaching £22,029,350.

Key Highlights

A three-bedroomed, end-terraced house at 32 Kingsbury Road, Erdington, Birmingham, converted into three flats, soared from a £150,000+ guide price to achieve £291,000.

Even unusual lots proved popular, such as a former cleaner’s store next to flats at 38 Dingle Lane, Solihull, which had a nominal £1 guide price but sold for £4,000.
