Nottinghamshire houses for sale by auction with competitive bidding expected for a two-bedroomed house in Nottinghamshire with a guide price* of just £4,000 to £9,000 in Bond Wolfe Auctions’ next auction in Birmingham.

The vacant end-terraced property at 8 Derby Street in Mansfield stands flush to the pavement with an open plan living room and kitchen area downstairs, the bedrooms upstairs and a rear yard outside.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive at Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “This property needs of refurbishment but once that’s tackled it could make someone a lovely home.

“It’s in a nice little location leading onto Fisher Lane Park and could be the ideal purchase for first-time owners or property landlords looking for an expansion project.”

A two-bedroomed, semi-detached house at 14 Nelson Street in Long Eaton is another bargain at the auction at Villa Park on Thursday 27 February, which will feature a record 215 lots.

This property, with a guide price of £14,000 to £19,000, has front and back gardens with a reception room, kitchen, utility room and bathroom downstairs, and bedrooms upstairs.

Mr Bassi said: “This property also needs improvement works, but at such a low guide price this could make a good little project for the right buyer.

“The location is also attractive, just across the road from West Park in Long Eaton which has a popular leisure centre.”

From over in Rainworth, a three-bedroomed, semi-detached house at 20 Clumber Avenue is in the auction with a guide price of £24,000 to £29,000.

This extended property has front and back gardens and two garages, with two reception rooms, a dining kitchen and utility room downstairs, and bedrooms and bathroom upstairs.

Mr Bassi said: “This lot benefits from having a gas fired central heating system and double glazing, however it is in need of refurbishment.”

Another house that needs modernisation is a three-bedroomed, end-terraced house at 27 Birchwood Avenue in Long Eaton, with a guide price of £45,000+.

This property lies in a cul-de-sac with large gardens and off-road parking, and may be suitable for development, subject to planning permission.

It currently has a hall, reception room, kitchen with pantry, rear lobby and bathroom downstairs, with bedrooms upstairs, and benefits from double glazing.

Mr Bassi added: “These four properties are great examples of the range of lots we have for all buyers at our record-breaking auction.”

The auction on Thursday 27 February will start at the earlier time of 10am, in order to cater for the large number of lots to be offered on the day.
