Bond Wolfe secures sale that will bring Black Country building back to life

A dilapidated high street property in the Black Country is set for a major transformation after being bought by a private developer in a £203,000 deal.

The prominent three-storey property at 68 High Street, Brierley Hill, was previously used as offices by a firm of solicitors but has sat vacant recently and is in need of refurbishment.

Commercial agents Bond Wolfe secured the freehold sale to a private developer with ambitious plans to convert the upper parts of the building for residential use and renovate the ground floor, bringing the 4,046 sq ft three-storey mid-terrace property back to life.

James Mattin, managing director agency at Bond Wolfe, said: “We had a huge amount of interest for this property as anything in a prominent location, offering an opportunity to refurbish or convert is proving very popular in the current market. We look forward to seeing the transformation undertaken by the new owner.”

Dawson Solicitors acted for the purchaser and the vendor was advised by solicitors from MS Law.
