Bringing Light to Children’s Departments

The Bond Wolfe Charitable Trust, in conjunction with Asha’s Restaurant have donated £500 towards the University Hospitals Birmingham Charity, to bring Diwali to the Children’s Departments over their 4 hospitals in Birmingham.

The donation will help light up the wards and offer activities throughout the festive Diwali period to children and their families.  “Sadly, we have many children who are in hospital during Diwali when their families would usually be celebrating. As lights are key to the Diwali celebrations, being able to provide these at the hospitals will help bring the festivities to the children and their families, bringing an element of normality to a very difficult and stressful time.  We would like to thank Bond Wolfe and Asha’s Restaurant for their generous donation”. UHBC
