Former Coventry nightclub and children’s nursery to go under the hammer in Bond Wolfe auction

A well-known Coventry venue that was once home to a popular nightclub and later converted into a children’s day nursery is set to appear in Bond Wolfe’s next auction.

The large, three-storey property, known as Careys, occupies a prominent position at Hertford Place on the edge of Coventry city centre and will have a guide price of £500,000+* in the live-streamed auction on Thursday 23 October.

The property is held on a long leasehold title with 68 years remaining until expiry in August 2093 and is subject to a current rent of £11,000 per annum, with review provisions.

The former nightclub is among 179 lots set to go under the hammer in Bond Wolfe’s next auction, which will begin at 8.30am on Thursday 23 October.
