A recently closed care home in Nottinghamshire with 22 bedrooms and the potential for residential conversion, subject to planning consent, is appearing in Bond Wolfe’s next auction. Ashdale Care Home at 42 The Park in Mansfield will have a £475,000+ guide price* in the live-streamed auction on Wednesday, 27 March.

James Mattin, managing director of Bond Wolfe, explained that the care home, which closed last year, was being offered on behalf of fixed charge receivers and was being sold in conjunction with Watling Real Estate.

Mr Mattin said: “This now vacant care home is set on a 0.4-acre plot within a desirable residential locality, off a private tree-lined roadway. This character property was originally built in the early 1900s, with more recent single and two-storey extensions. Extending to approximately 8,126 sq ft, Ashdale Care Home has 22 bedrooms, all with wash hand basins and seven with ensuite toilets.
