Traditional values, modern solutions

Do you have a property to sell or let?

Pair of Grade-II listed properties at auction in one of Birmingham’s most sought-after suburbs will appear in Bond Wolfe Auction’s next auction at Villa Park later this month.

The impressive looking properties at 5 and 6 Windsor Terrace on the Hagley Road in Edgbaston have ten bedrooms between them and are currently bringing in annual rents of £59,798 as houses in multiple occupation (HMO).

This income would equate to a healthy yield of more than 8.5% if the properties sold for their joint guide price* of £695,000+ at the auction on Thursday 27 February, which will feature a record 215 lots.

James Rossiter, auction valuer at Bond Wolfe Auctions, said: “These stunning white houses are among those historic properties that you can’t help glancing at as you drive along the Hagley Road.

“They are solid buildings and are proving popular as HMOs in the heart of Edgbaston, just five minutes from Birmingham city centre, Birmingham University and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.”

The house at number 5 has an entrance hall, four double bedrooms, two large bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen and reception room. Its rent totals £23,919 a year.

There are six double bedroom in number 6, which also has an entrance hall, two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen and reception room. Its rent totals £35,879 a year.
