Traditional values, modern solutions

Do you have a property to sell or let?

One of the most sought-after areas near Birmingham has two family homes that will be attracting multiple bidders at Bond Wolfe’s next auction on Thursday 27 October.

The first is a substantial four-bedroomed, end-terraced house at 49 Fiery Hill Road in Barnt Green, just south of the city border, with a guide price* of £400,000+.

This property stands back from the road behind a driveway and front garden, and it is located just a stone’s throw away from Barnt Green Railway Station and the busy heart of the village.

On the ground floor, it has a porch, hall, two interconnected reception rooms a kitchen, breakfast room, shower and utility room, and sunroom.

Upstairs is a landing, four bedrooms and a bathroom, and outside is a driveway and back garden with a garden room, plus there is gas central heating and double glazing throughout.

Not far away in the same village is a three-bedroomed, end-terraced house at 29 Hewell Road, where the need for refurbishment is reflected in a guide price of £210,000+.

This property also stands back from the road with gardens front and back, and it comes with two reception rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom – both with no fittings – on the first floor.

There is a landing and two bedrooms on the first floor, and the second floor has a bedroom with the potential for a dormer extension.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “We are expecting lots of interest from bidders in these two family homes in one of the Birmingham area’s most highly sought-after locations.

“Whether it’s a family home ready to move into or one where DIY work is needed by a first-time buyer or landlord looking to invest in their portfolio, we will have both choices on offer.”

The Barnt Green properties are just two of 158 lots due to appear in Bond Wolfe’s next auction which is due to start at 9.30 am on Thursday 27 October.
